Grateful Dead Spring Tour 1987 — Reborn

This one almost didn’t make the collection.

The original Grateful Dead tee came to me a little dingy and with a stain, and I wasn’t sure it had another life left in it. But there was something about it that kept telling me not to give up on it.

I’m glad I listened.

I reimagined it with blue fringe and bold rose granny squares running up the sides, transforming a once “chopped” discard into a one-of-a-kind statement piece.

The front features the iconic Grateful Dead graphic, while the back may be my favorite part: Grateful Dead Spring Tour 1987, complete with the original tour stops and dates.

The relaxed, oversized silhouette drapes beautifully and can be styled off the shoulder for that effortless, lived-in rock-and-roll look.

This is the final piece from the Days Between Collection — created from something that might otherwise have been left behind.
